Part-time Marketing Specialist
Lemington Consulting is looking for a part-time marketing specialist to assist us with various marketing programs. We will consider well-qualified candidates who wish to work remotely. Job responsibilities include: - Good writing and organizational skills
- Familiarity with various forms of marketing collateral including web, print, email, and telemarketing
- Familiarity with various forms of online advertising would be very helpful
- Knowledge of marketing technical products and services a plus
- Knowledge of vendor marketing programs a plus
- Good phone skills and the ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
Experience is a plus, however, we will consider training the right person with the appropriate interest and initiative. Part-time Database Application Specialist
Lemington Consulting is looking for a part-time database application specialist to work on a project basis to assist in developing leading-edge software applications. We will consider well-qualified candidates who wish to work remotely. Job requirements include: - Extensive experience developing high quality database applications using Microsoft .NET technologies, Visual Basic, VBA, Microsoft Access (versions 2007 through 97) and SQL Server (2008, 2005 and 2000)
- Experience in relational database design including schemas, normalization, indexing, replication, etc.
- Strong TSQL skills in both SQL Server and Microsoft Access
- Strong reporting skills in SQL Server Reporting Services and Microsoft Access
- Experience with Microsoft Office automation with Excel, Outlook, Word, Project and other Microsoft Office applications. Experience with the automation of non-Office software such as QuckBooks would be helpful
- Database application integration with third-party (non-Microsoft) applications and legacy systems
- Microsoft certifications helpful
This is a non-entry level position. The candidate will need to possess the following qualities: - A high-level commitment to delivering quality work on a consistent basis
- The ability to consistently deliver work on time
- The ability to work with minimal supervision
- A strong desire to apply new technologies and methodologies to building leading-edge database applications and software solutions
- Good communications skills and a professional demeanor
We would prefer someone who can work on a 1099 basis, although we are willing to consider a direct hire.
